Roulette
Turning a classic casino wheel into a ten-second multiplayer round that is easy to read at a glance.

Context
Roulette is a fast crash-style mini game for Zero Dash inspired by the casino wheel. Players bet on red, black or green before the timer runs out, then the winning number is revealed in real time, with every player at the table on the same screen.
Challenge
Rounds last seconds. Players must read the timer, the last results, their bet and everyone else’s bets at once, and decide before the countdown ends. Any friction means a missed round; too much noise kills the tension that makes the game fun.
My role
I owned the full product design: interaction flow, betting experience, UI and the in-game animations and feedback. I built a modular, responsive layout system and the interactive prototype.
Key decisions
One screen, one round
Wheel, countdown, betting options and recent results live together, with a clear hierarchy: the timer and the wheel first, then the bet, then the history. Nothing needs a scroll during a round.
Colour is the language
Red, black and green carry the whole game: buttons, columns, history and the winning reveal use the same colour codes, so players read results instantly without reading numbers.
Social by default
Every bet column lists the players who joined it with their stake, turning a solo bet into a shared moment and adding social proof to each choice.
Animation that builds anticipation
The countdown and the sliding reveal are timed to build tension, then a short reward moment marks the win, keeping each round exciting without slowing the pace.

Outcome
A fast, readable multiplayer game that keeps the attention on the action, with a layout system that scales from desktop to mobile and stays consistent with the Zero Dash brand.
